Children rescued from MAGA home in red Texas that ‘smelled like death’ say they never went to school, police say

Two children who were rescued from a home that ‘smelled like death’ in Texas told police that they had never been to school.

As officers approached the residence, they confirmed the odor, and one officer said the residence “smelled like death,” according to the affidavit.

Officers noticed flies around the windows and attempted to knock on the doors and windows of the home. With no response, they began to think someone was dead.

Police made an entry into the home and found Michael Robbins, 34, and John Robbins, 68, at the door.

When officers inspected the home, they discovered “the home was completely filled with rotting garbage on the floor and surfaces.”

Two children, 8 and 10, were found inside the home sitting in a bathtub half-filled with dirty water, police said.

The children had matted hair that appeared to be infested with bugs, and when they were told to get dressed, they returned in foul-smelling clothes covered in old food stains.

Both children smelled of urine, f***s, body odor and stagnant water, and they told officers they had never been to school and did not know how to read or write, police said.

Officers also found one child with rotting adult teeth, the affidavit says.

Authorities learned the children were caring for each other, and Michael Robbins and John Robbins had not been providing them with food.

“The children were immediately removed from the home and taken to McClane’s Children’s Hospital,” Temple police said.

Temple police officers said they learned from neighbors that the children had not been seen outside the home for several years.

A further search of the home turned up mouse and rat f***s, maggots and other insects in the sink, rotting food on the kitchen counter covered in bugs and flies, and not a single clean space in the house.

Child Protective Services and the Temple Police Department’s investigations division responded to the scene, authorities said.

Michael Robbins and John Robbins were taken to jail on charges of abandoning or endangering a child with intent.

Both men are being held at the Bell County Jail on a $30,000 bond each.

How many cops knew and said nothing? How many will face meaningful accountability? This is horror beyond comprehension.

HOUSTON ATTORNEY CHARGED WITH FELONY BE******TY AFTER WIFE’S CAMERAS CATCH EVERYTHING

A 56-year-old Houston estate planning attorney has been charged with felony be******ty after his own wife turned him in to police.

Steven Tyler Swain is accused of s*xually abusing the family dog, a dog named Shipley, in November of 2025. His wife had installed surveillance cameras inside the home while contractors were doing work there. When she later reviewed the footage, she told investigators she saw her husband on camera with Shipley and said she was quote 100% sure it was him.

She handed the footage over to authorities and removed Shipley from the home to keep the dog safe.

Charges have been filed in the 183rd District Court in Harris County, and an arrest warrant has been issued. As of reporting, Swain is not in custody.

Under Texas Penal Code Section 21.09, be******ty is classified as a state jail felony, which carries a sentence of 180 days to two years.

This is a developing story. Shipley is currently safe with the wife.

AMITE — A Hammond man has been sentenced to serve 70 years in prison on child po*******hy charges.

21st Judicial District Attorney Scott Perrilloux reports that on April 27, David Hollingsworth, 61, of Hammond, was sentenced to serve 10 years on each of the seven counts of child po*******hy on which he was convicted earlier this spring. The counts will be served consecutively, resulting in a 70 year prison sentence.

Perrilloux said the case stems from a National Center of Missing and Exploited Children cyber tip submitted to the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations. According to that report, multiple files of child po*******hy were uploaded to a Dropbox account from an IP address located in Tangipahoa Parish. Perrilloux said authorities used subpoenas and search warrants to ascertain the home address and user information, which identified the defendant David Hollingsworth. Additional digital forensics revealed additional contraband and other identifying information connecting the files to Hollingsworth.

Perrilloux said Assistant District Attorney Brad Cascio prosecuted the case before the Honorable Judge Erika Sledge, who handed down sentencing.

“This is not a victimless crime. These are real children being exploited, and as long as there are monsters like this looking for it, someone, somewhere will make it,” Cascio said.

John Kent Tarwater, 55, a former Cedarville University professor and anti-LGBTQ+ author who fathered 10 children, has been indicted on multiple child s*x charges in Greene County, Ohio.

A court indicted Tarwater on two counts of r*pe, three counts of s*xual battery, and three counts of gross s*xual imposition, with alleged offenses occurring between August 2019 and July 2025. One alleged victim was as young as 10 years old when the ab*se reportedly began. Another victim was reportedly under 13, and the indictment states Tarwater used force or the threat of force to make that victim comply.

Tarwater had worked at Cedarville University, a Baptist school, as a business administration faculty member and associate finance professor since 2017. He was placed on administrative leave in July 2025 after the university learned of the allegations, and was dismissed from his contract in October 2025.

In 2021, Tarwater authored a journal article arguing that the spread of transgender rights would have “devastating effects in both the church and the marketplace.”

Tarwater has denied all charges. His bail was set at $1 million, and he remains in custody.

🚨Trump’s former evangelical advisor Robert Morris — founder of Gateway Church, one of America’s largest megachurches — walked FREE Tuesday after serving just 6 months in jail for child s*x ab*se. Six. Months.

Morris, 64, pleaded guilty to 5 counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child. He began s*xually ab*sing Cindy Clemishire on Christmas Day 1982 when she was just 12 years old. The abuse lasted over four years. Morris was 22 and staying in her family’s home as a traveling evangelist.

He received a 10-year suspended sentence — meaning he’s free, with probation, heading home to his $1.5 million lakefront house in Texas. He must register as a lifetime s*x offender and paid $270,000 in restitution.

This is the man who sat on Donald Trump’s evangelical advisory board and hosted Trump at his Dallas megachurch in 2020. But sure — let’s keep letting the GOP claim the moral high ground.

Clemishire said when he was sentenced: “Justice has finally been served, and the man who manipulated, groomed and ab*sed me as a 12-year-old innocent girl is finally going to be behind bars.”

Her attorney noted Morris still faces “nearly ten years of probation as well as a lifetime of being publicly registered as a s*x offender.” A civil trial is set for June 2026.
