We will have multiple different saddles for you to try out as well as sticks, platforms and accessories to get a head start on hunting season. Show up with all the questions you have about saddle hunting and we will do our best to get you comfortable getting in a saddle.

This photo resonates deeply with me, it captures one of the most important lessons Flip ever taught me: patience. That day, Flip and I set out on a mission to do something few have ever done—catch an American red snapper on a fly. Right off the rip, we pulled it off. In this moment, I was fighting off the sharks that moved in, clamping down on the bite, and that ended up being the only snapper we caught. Because of that, the footage never made it out to the world.

But soon, we’ll share it-not just the catch, but the time and the quiet wisdom that came with being on the water with Flip. He showed me that patience isn’t just about waiting—it’s about trusting the process, staying steady, and respecting the pursuit, no matter the outcome.

That day will forever be one of my favorites, and it’s only right that the world gets to see it in honor of Flip. Here’s to the man who inspired generations, who cast further than most, and whose spirit will always be with us on the water.

Legends never die.

Today is the last day to speak your mind on the proposed leasing of Conecuh National Forest land for the drilling of oil & gas.

As outdoorsmen, we should have strong opposition to the use of our national forests for the drilling of oil and natural gas. These public lands are some of the last remaining havens for biodiversity, clean air and water, and recreational access. Exploiting them for fuel extraction is short-sighted, destructive, and entirely contrary to our responsibility to protect the natural world for future generations.
Drilling not only scars the landscape but also threatens wildlife and pollutes water sources. At a time when public land access is decreasing, sacrificing protected forests for outdated energy practices is both environmentally and economically irresponsible.
National forests belong to all of us — and they must remain protected, wild, and intact.

I'm not sure if you Northern boys know anything about Conecuh sausage, but if you haven't had it, you're missing out. This is my favorite super fattening way to cook it. Cut it into short links, wrap it in bacon, and then roll it in brown sugar and cook until the bacon is done! Damn that's going to be some good stuff right there!
