Friday fact: I know I am chosen. My Bible reading this morning was Psalm 105. It reminded me of God’s faithfulness to His people. It is a hymn that gives the history of the people of Israel by sharing major occurrences that show God’s protection, provision and guidance for His chosen people. This should remind us that if we are God’s chosen people, He can protect, provide and guide us as well. Being chosen by God means you are one of the elect. Search your Bible for the scriptures below:
Ephesians 1:4-5 says “God chose believers before the foundation of the world to be holy, blameless, and adopted as his children through Christ.
Romans 8:29-30 tells us “Those whom God foreknew, he predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, called, justified, and glorified.”
Matthew 22:14 shares that “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
The question to ask yourself today is “Am I part of God’s chosen people? “
Though we are all created by God, not all of us are children of God.
