Monday message: “ Stay teachable. It does not matter what your title is, how much money you make, how old you are, or how many letters you have behind your name.”-
Angela M. Carden, M.S.A.

Sunday subject: Somebody needs to read this message today! We should always work hard to prepare ourselves to be ready when trials come. Your hard work does not however, guarantee you success in whatever the challenge is. We must remember that it is God that gets the final decision on the outcome. Move over and let God steer. The victory always belongs to the Lord.

“The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord”. -Proverbs 21:31

Wednesday word: My home is my sanctuary. We have peace in our home and that is something I cherish everyday. I used to allow the things that happen in this world or outside my home to disturb my peace; not anymore. I’ve learned. I’ve grown and matured spiritually. My peace comes from the Lord so no one else can take it away.
“ Trust Me in the midst of a messy day. Your inner calm—your peace in My Presence—need not be shaken by what is going on around you. Though you live in this temporal world, your innermost being is rooted and grounded in eternity. When you start to feel stressed, detach yourself from the disturbances around you. Instead of desperately striving to maintain order and control in your little world, relax and remember that circumstances cannot touch My Peace. Seek My Face, and I will share My mind with you, opening your eyes to see things from My perspective. Do not let your heart be troubled, and do not be afraid. The Peace I give is sufficient for you.” -From The Jesus calling devotional by Sarah Young.

Tuesday truth: You will continue to suffer if you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you. True power is sitting back and observing things with logic. True power is restraint. If words control you, that means everyone else can control you. Breathe and allow things to pass.
-Warren Buffet

Monday message: There are tables that God never meant for you to sit at. Stop being so quick to want to fit in. As Christ Followers we’re not meant to fit in. We are set apart from the world. We are a peculiar people. This place is not our home. We’re just passing through. I didn’t say it. God did. He wrote a book. Read it sometime.
