Ok... let me start by saying that of course it’s me, writing my own bio/story; I don’t want to do a boring and sad task but well... who else could know me better right? Don’t worry I’ll try to keep it short and interesting. I was born in Mexico City, raised there and in a couple other states (Puebla & Veracruz). in 2003, when I got here I brought with me the great experience of turntablism and the
passion for the music, especially for the so called “salsa”. It wasn’t until 2007 when I finally got back to my days of being a DJ. By the end of August in 2008 I started my own vinyl collection specialized in those magical and addictive Afro-Cuban rhythms. I remember my bro Antonio aka DJ La Conga took me to some record stores in Brooklyn where I got to buy around 10 beautiful gems, among those, one of my favorites, a mint copy of Orquesta La Conspiración / Ernie’s Conspiracy (Their 2nd LP). That’s how I started as a collector, buying records not even having a turntable yet. But that’s not all... wanna talk about music? Let’s do it, but Latin... yeah, I’m very versatile in the Latin music field. So, I guess what I wanna say here is if you ever need a DJ club style playing merengue, bachata, kizomba, cumbia, punta, reggaeton, trap, hype music and whatever more, I can do it...
Although my passion and love affair, has been and always be, the magnificent rhythms of Guaguancó, Mambo, Cha-Cha-chá, Guajira, Son Montuno! Uffff... Salsa Romántica, Pachanga, Boogaloo, etc...
So, wanna talk about music? 😉
