Most of the stories I hear of creators turning this into their full time job seem to start the same way. “I started posting and six months later, I made more than what I made at my full time job”. As inspiring as those stories are, I wanted to share my story because maybe yours looks a little more like mine.
My journey to making this my full time job has been a slow one. I started out sharing my home on instagram at the very end of 2018 not even realizing the potential of what I was building. Then in 2023, I received my first partnership through Mavely (now Mavely by Later ) and that is the partnership that ultimately changed my life. They gave me the tools and resources I needed to grow my business and eventually make content creation my full time job. I will be forever grateful for the role they’ve played in my story.
And now, Mavely is entering a new chapter too. Mavely was acquired by Later and now the two are officially coming together under the Later name. I couldn’t be more excited for this glow up. Creators will now have access to double the campaigns, double the resources and double the opportunities.
