Federal prosecutors say a Paramount man injured a Border Patrol agent with a cinderblock during a heated anti-ICE protest this past June.

According to officials, 30-year-old Jacob Daniel Terrazas and other demonstrators threw rocks, debris, and Molotov cocktails at officers near a Homeland Security Investigations facility. One cinderblock allegedly struck an agent in the shin, drawing blood, before officers moved in to arrest Terrazas.

If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in federal prison. His trial is set for September 23.
