Hi folks,
I would like to share with you a new ride share company that just started in Los Angeles area. SPLIT.
SPLIT is like a moto taxi (so it is like Uber and Lyft) but in a scooter (motorcycle) because the scooter can split lanes with cars SPLIT arrive faster than Uber and Lyft to the destination.
Right now it only works during the week Monday - Friday between 7:30 am 8:30 pm (from Santa Monica to LAX area going south and all the way going east to Downtown) it works only with iPhone.
The vides here explains everything in Portuguese. When you download the app or put the camera on the QR code it shows a link to open the apple store and download the app, when you install the app you can click on the top left corner and choose the first option PROMO and type the promotion code MAX, after that you will have 20 FREE RIDES for the first 15 days (we provide helmets for the passenger and a head liner) Feel free to ask anything if you have questions.

Kontrapunktus will be returning to Culver City Seventh-Day Adventist Church for a uniquely intimate concert on Sunday, December 8th, called “Stylus Fantasticus."

Cactus Jam brings it’s fun mix of country, blues and rock and roll to Culver City’s fun original music joint The Cinema Bar on Thursday August 15th at 8 pm.
Nikki O’neill opens the show at 8 pm with her amazing soulful voice and wailing guitar. Singer, songwriter and guitarist Terry Okey leads Cactus Jam and writes all the music. He takes inspiration from all forms of American music including: country, blues, folk, R&B, and rock.

The band features some of L.A.’s best roots players and his live show is known for being a fiery celebration of music and life. His passion for music is immediately evident onstage. His energy, always rambunctious out of the gate, then sways between mid-tempo driving songs, lilting ballads, bluesy slide tunes, and rowdy honky-tonk.
Terry Okey grew up in the city of San Diego, California which has also produced top rootsy talents like Jim Croce, The Beat Farmers, and Nickel Creek.
The Cinema Bar is a fun neighborhood bar with plenty of friends, drinks and music almost every night.
