I’m not judging you. I understand more than you might think. I know the secrecy can feel exciting and dangerous, but I also know about that feeling in the pit of your stomach that keeps telling you something isn’t right. Please don’t ignore it. You deserve somebody who can be seen with you, be proud to be with you, and love you without having to hide you.

Being grateful for what you have doesn’t mean you have to stop hoping for what could still be. You can thank God for the life in front of you and still have dreams tucked away in your heart. That isn’t selfish. That isn’t greedy. So tonight, get that notebook out and write them down. The places you want to go. The things you want to experience. The prayers you’re still waiting to see answered. And know that I’m praying right along with you—that God goes into every situation, provides everything you need, and provides it abundantly. ❤️

I know something may have happened that made you think, “I can’t keep doing this.” But if you know God called you to it, don’t let one hard day or week make you walk away. Put your head up and keep going. Things are coming at me too, so I’m saying this to both of us today: God’s got us. And if He’s got us, we can keep going. ❤️

If somebody asks you a question today, just answer the question. You do not have to provide the backstory, supporting documentation, timeline of events and three pieces of information they did not ask for. Sometimes the answer really can just be the answer.

You are not here by accident. Out of every generation, every moment in history, God chose for you to be here right now—and He created you to be exactly who you are. Your life matters. The people you’ve crossed paths with matter. God doesn’t do random. So before you go to sleep tonight, thank Him for putting you here, and ask Him to show you exactly what He created you to do.

There are people who remember you exactly as you were when they knew you. But they weren’t there for everything that happened afterward. They didn’t see what changed you or who you became because of it. Maybe they fit beautifully into the life you had then, but they don’t fit into the life you have now. And that doesn’t make either of you wrong. Sometimes people simply belong to who you were, not who you are now. 😉

You may just be trying to get dressed, remember everything you need, drop the kids off and get where you’re going on time. But somewhere along the way today, you’re going to walk through a door and somebody is going to be genuinely happy it’s you. We don’t think about ourselves that way nearly enough.

You can cry. You can be angry. You can fall apart for a minute if that’s what you need to do. But underneath all of those emotions, please stop looking for a way to make everything your fault. Sometimes life is just hard. Sometimes people make hurtful choices. And sometimes things happen that have absolutely nothing to do with something you said, did, or should’ve done differently. Forgive yourself for the things you’ve already learned from. You don’t have to keep making yourself pay for them.

You can trust God completely and still have days when this is hard. Struggling doesn’t automatically mean your faith is weak. Sometimes it means you’re a human being walking through something difficult while still choosing to believe God in the middle of it. ❤️

I don’t know what the rest of this month is going to bring, but I know I don’t want us sitting here at the end of it still talking about all the things we were going to do. Let’s spend these next few weeks actually becoming the women who do them. Less talking about who we want to be. More becoming her. ❤️
