2024 was intense for me and my family 🖤
There were many times I thought, "it can't get worse than this, right?" only to be shown that yes, it can and did.
We went through a lot - mentally, emotionally, physically - and have come out the other side stronger, more resilient, closer together...
And also, exhausted.
One thing I really worked on in therapy this year was to prioritize myself, specifically to clearly state my needs, to delegate tasks, and to take care of ME. Shifting from "this is selfish" to "this is necessary" was incredible & I'm so grateful for the work I put in to make this change.
Because as someone who does all the things for my family, I HAVE to take care of myself first to continue in a way that won't cause burnout or resentment 🖤
I'm incredibly grateful to have Brian by my side to help me and encourage me to take as much time and space for myself as I need 🥰
Although I did A LOT of just surviving this year, I also learned the importance of rest...the necessity of rest.
Which I'll be bringing into 2025, along with a renewed spirit, hopeful spirit that this next year will bring 🖤✨️
Sending you all love xo
