Year 9 of our Houston Restaurant Weeks tradition. This time we tried Georgia James and it did not disappoint. Great food, great cocktails, and it all supports the Houston Food Bank. Already excited for next year. 🐽😜

Birthday lunch for Jane 🥂 Food was fine, service was NOT. As a small business, customer service is your business and if you can’t get that right, the fancy menu won’t save you. No wonder I head into town for real fine dining.

But this crew? We can make the best of anything. Good friends > bad service

Austin gave me room to breathe and reset. We stayed , named after Townes Van Zandt, a nod to Austin’s roots that now sits in the middle of Rainey’s energy. We paddle boarded, watched the bats, and wandered the neighborhood without a tight agenda. Creativity hit in the quiet moments.

We ate well, REALLY well.
for bold comfort food, brunch at .austin, hot pot at , and comfort classics at . We couldn’t resist … went back three times. Sausages and live music at was a favorite, as well as chair dancing at . Rooftop hangs and the city skyline from the pool sealed it.

Simple trip. No pressure. Just me, my husband, our kids, and a city that somehow always gives me exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

“Who are you becoming?”

That question came up in small group last night and I can’t stop thinking about how much it applies to entrepreneurship too.

Not just what you do for work.
But who you’re becoming while you do it.

I’ve built and rebuilt so many things over the years…
But this question keeps me grounded in the parts that matter most:
Faith. Family. Integrity. Creativity. Growth.

Whether you’re building a business, navigating a new season, or just trying to stay true to yourself, this is the check-in that matters.

Last night was one for the books 🥂✨
Celebrated our girl Silvia’s birthday with great cocktails, unforgettable vibes, and just the right amount of car dancing.
Grateful for nights like these and the friends who make them even sweeter.

Lucy chewed up two of my favorite books today.
They were on the coffee table… she’s one… it’s on me. 😂

But as I picked up the torn pages, I had a thought:
This is exactly what it feels like when you’re running a business and trying to do your own marketing.

Stuff gets overlooked.
Things you worked hard on fall apart.
You’re trying to do the right thing—but also cleaning up messes at the same time.

Here’s what I want to say:
You’re not doing it wrong. You’re just doing a lot.

So if it feels like your favorite “book” just got shredded—pause.
You’re allowed to reset. You’re allowed to ask for help.

That’s what I do. I work with small business owners who are tired of throwing spaghetti at the wall and want a clear, honest plan that feels like them.

No trends. No guilt. No fluff. Just marketing that actually works.

Let’s figure it out together.

Last night’s Astros game was such a treat but what made it extra special? Hearing our very own worship leader sing the national anthem.😭🙌🏼

This guy right here is wildly talented, incredibly kind, and just one of those people you know is destined for big things. What a gift he is to our family. Grateful to witness moments like this (and to be cheering from the stands with Graham).⚾️💛

Can’t wait to see what God has in store for you, Seth! Keep shining.

If you’ve ever felt like your content was being buried in the feed… this update changes everything.

Starting July 10, your posts are now part of Instagram’s internal search engine — which means the words you choose MATTER more than ever.

🧠 That’s why I tell all my clients: Don’t just post to post. Say something worth searching for.

✔ Use clear, niche-specific keywords.
✔ Describe what’s actually in the post.
✔ Speak your audience’s language — not just the algorithm’s.

I’ve been saying it for years: content with intention always wins. Now the platform finally agrees. 🙌

There’s nothing quite like great friends, amazing food, and conversations that flow as easily as the drinks. 🥂✨ Last night, we gathered around the table at MF Sushi Houston, where every bite was a reminder of why this spot is such a gem.

Did you know MF Sushi’s roots trace back to Atlanta, with Chef Chris Kinjo bringing his bold, innovative flavors to Houston? It’s now one of the city’s top destinations for sushi lovers, and for good reason. From the freshest sashimi to the perfectly crafted rolls, it’s more than a meal—it’s an experience.

Grateful for nights like these, where the love of food brings us closer, and the laughter reminds us of the beauty of genuine connection. 🍣💛
