You don’t have to wait until you’re older to make a difference. 💜

In this reel, AccessAid student founder Prayagh shares his advice for other students who have an idea, see a need, or want to create positive change: believe in yourself, take that first step, and don’t let your age make you think your impact has to be small.

I hope his words inspire more young people to recognize that they already have the ability to lead, serve, and make a difference. Sometimes one idea and the courage to act on it can create an incredible ripple effect!

This national recognition is presented by the Foundation for Music Education and celebrates outstanding achievement in concert band performance. Congratulations to the Rowe Band!!!

My conversation with Lee Ann is officially up, and I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch!

Lee Ann is the creator of Bridgeland Bucketlist, co-owner of Holy Chic and a local philanthropist — but what I really wanted to talk with her about was the heart behind her involvement in our Cypress community.

We chat about why giving back matters to her, how Gather & Giveback began, supporting local businesses and causes, the impact our community has had on her, and even a few local favorites along the way.

One thing I hope these conversations continue to show is that you don’t have to do something huge to make a difference. Support a local business. Volunteer an hour. Share a nonprofit’s post. Attend a fundraiser. Tell someone about a great organization. Sometimes the smallest actions create a much bigger ripple than we realize. 💜

That’s why I started Voices of Cypress — to amplify the positive voices and real stories happening right here around us and, hopefully, inspire even more good along the way.

🎃👻Our incredible Cypress Fairbanks ISD Police Department is planning for their annual trunk or treat which serves our entire Cypress community. Not only is this a fun and safe way to bring our families together but it’s a great way to give back too. 🎃👻 🍬THEY NEED OUR HELP! 🍬
To make this event a huge success for our kids and families, they are asking for donations of new, individually wrapped candy. Every bag donated helps ensure there are plenty of treats for everyone who attends! Donations can drop off at the CFISD Police station or they can send someone to pick it up if need be. Feel free to email [email protected] if you would like to schedule a date and time for us to do a pickup. Thank you for your support 🍭🍫
