Today's Driver is Charlie Bates Jr.! Charlie drives A 1980 Ex-Hood W900A Kenworth, limited edition Gold Nugget #5. With a 425 B Cat motor, 15spd trans, 370 Eaton rears, and over 3 million miles, this rig is built for both regional and long-haul runs. Based in Goodman, Missouri, Charles hauls grain and pet food ingredients with his hopper bottom trailer. As a third-generation truck driver with 27 years on the road and his father Charlie Bates Sr. still trucking at 77 years, he has run cat engines since 1973. They are true and loyal Cat fanatics, and we would like to thank them for their support.
