Can we normalize not feeling like doing a full makeover before labor? 😂

I see moms checking everything off the list:
✨ Fresh hair
✨ Fresh nails
✨ Waxed
✨ Shaved
✨ Lashes done

Meanwhile, I’m over here like… “The baby is the only one with a scheduled arrival.” 😂

I’ll definitely get my hair done and make sure I’m clean, but the rest? I honestly don’t have the energy or motivation.

Someone tell me… are the Labor & Delivery nurses secretly judging our legs, or is that just pregnancy overthinking? 😂🐐

There are days when the work is exhausting, and there are days when it reminds you exactly why you chose this profession.

I’m grateful for every opportunity to learn, grow, and care for others. Nursing continues to teach me that compassion, patience, and kindness can make a bigger difference than we sometimes realize.

Thank You, God, for the strength to keep showing up and giving my best each day. 🙏🏽🩺

One of the things I love most about nursing is that the learning never ends. 🩺✨

Today, I get to learn about LVADs (Left Ventricular Assist Devices), and I’m beyond excited. These are the moments that remind me how much there is to discover beyond nursing school.

Every new skill, every new device, and every patient teaches something valuable. Grateful for the opportunity to grow and expand my knowledge as a nurse.

Here’s to continuous learning and becoming the best nurse I can be. ❤️
