I’m clearing out all the users, abusers, trash, and selfish people from my life. I don’t owe anyone a personal announcement — I just have to love myself enough to protect my peace and my space.
Too many people have been showing up with empty plates, expecting me to serve them. That season is over.
I refuse to let anyone handle me roughly ever again. I’ve carefully and intentionally decided to remove certain people from my life.
If you can’t love all of me thoroughly, then you’re being removed — expeditiously.

Why is it that, as Black people, we’re opening our culture and identity up to everyone else?

Think about it like this: if you mix a Lab and a Pitbull, those puppies can’t be sold as a full-blooded Pitbull—the value changes. So why are we accepting everyone under the new “POC” label, when not too long ago many of these same groups didn’t even want to be associated with being Black?

Now that Black is beautiful, suddenly everybody wants to join in. But let’s be real—some of these mixtures don’t even carry the same level of respect that we, as Black people, do. For example, we aren’t the ones out here dragging each other’s babies on social media—we know how hard it already is for them in this world.

Instead of entertaining the nonsense, we need to start checking it. Call it what it is—childish—and tell them to either stop or claim their own identity. Please stop disgracing our race so our beauty can shine!✊🏾
