It’s the late-night shuffle for me.
Still in my Joyspun pajamas, standing in the kitchen like I’m about to do something productive—but really just holding a baby who refuses to sleep unless he’s on my chest.

The bottle’s cold.
The dishes are judging me.
And I’m trying to remember if I even ate dinner.

Motherhood is wild like that… how you can feel so overstimulated and undernourished at the same time. How you’re tired of being touched but still the only comfort they want.
I’m somewhere between “I need a break” and “don’t take him from me.”
Between “I can’t do this” and “I’ll do anything for him.”

Nobody told me that this would be the kind of tired that sits in your bones… but also the kind of love that softens your whole spirit.
