One of me and Baby Sis’ mottos is: now that we make grown folk money, we’re gonna see the legends and give them their flowers while we still have the chance!

And Tommy Davidson is definitely a legend that we had to go see IMMEDIATELY when he came to town! We had to make it a girls night with our favorite girl because the way my a$$ was GRASS if I hadn’t recorded “In Living Color” for mom while she was at work 🤣

Ahh the memories, and yall. How is it possible this man got MORE FUNNY?😩 We were sweating and fanning and stomping our feet, my goodness it felt good!

And the bookworm in me HAD to get a copy of his memoir “Living in Color.” You have got to pick this up! He was so kind and easy to talk to at the meet and greet! 𝙰𝙳𝙳𝙸𝚂𝙾𝙽 𝙸𝙼𝙿𝚁𝙾𝚅 always brings a great time!

Happy Mother’s Day to the lady that gave us our love of music and not-so-gently nudged us to start our podcast 🤣

We love you madly Mommy, and we thank you for always being down for our shenanigans and crazy plans! We love just being with you doing all the things, or just sitting and talking and listening to music.

I ordered this album twice, and both orders got cancelled. This was the last album of D’Angelo’s that I needed for my small, intentional, new vinyl collection and I was starting to feel defeated.

One of my favorite people to the rescue ❤️ It’s in my grabby hands, and this album was the one I wanted the most! Thank you my friend, and shout out to ! I can’t wait to support you more!

♠️♥️♣️♦️This was needed. Thankful. Grateful. Healing.

We got to spend some time with family and music family this weekend in Vegas, and when I tell you A TIME WAS HAD! Given the events of the past week, this trip became of moment of healing and fun.

We ate good, gambled good (or not-so-good, but we had a blast lol), met some wonderful people, and got to squeeze our in person! What a gem of a human being, thankful for REAL, authentic, honest & genuine people in my life. They are rare, and she is one. Love you!

My son got to try the famous Whale Burger from featured on “Fresh Fried & Crispy” and it was everything he dreamed it would be 🤣

So happy to spend this time with loved ones and just relax and kick back. Praying for all of us as we go about this new week! Make it a great one!

Weddings and vinyl and Golden Girls OH MY! 🤣

Mannn, September came in and then got the h€ll on, didn’t it?! Baby Sis and I had a blast loving on our people, traveling, doing bridesmaid duty, watching Golden Girls and trying to get rest when we can!

But now it’s time to get back work (and pay the rent 🙄). How was y’all’s September, other than FAST? We hope it was a great one! Bye September, and HELLO OCTOBER! Be good to us ALL! 🍂🍁🍃
