Since relocating from Oklahoma in the summer of 2000, R. Taylor “Duckie” Etherton has been an immovable presence in the Dallas music scene for the last 20 years. Working as a drummer in bands such as Mindfull, London Sky, and Night Gallery, Duckie found himself recording in some of the best studios in North Texas. After frequently recording at Reeltime Audio, Nomad Studios, and Fort Worth Sound, Duckie decided to take a crack at producing his own music with the help of a small, yet very mobile recording rig. With that, he produced the EP “Death of Analog” by Oliphant in 2008 and the EP “Tales of the 5th Reality” by The Winnebago Forcefield in 2010. Since then, Duckie has been busy building that rig into something far bigger and much more stationary. As well as producing a catalogue of music with Royalty Free Studios, Duckie is currently producing all three of his personal projects, The Winnebago Forcefield, Starside R&D, and Auntie Risser & The Colonel.
