The Dirk Nowitzki Foundation Tennis Classic returns for its 7th year on September 13—bringing Dirk and friends together for a day of tennis, philanthropy, and fun!

This year’s celebrity roster features NBA Hall of Famer Steve Nash and U.S. tennis great John Isner, with more star-studded names to be announced soon. The event will be held at Banner House at T Bar M.

All proceeds benefit the North Texas community through impactful projects and annual grants to nonprofit organizations that align with the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation’s mission.

The newest culinary venture from Major Food Group, No.1 STEAK, is now available at Highland Park Village bringing an inventive, elevated take on the classic steakhouse experience. Hosted at Sadelle’s after dark, No.1 STEAK was created by Chef Mario Carbone and Chef Keith Potter of Sadelle’s Dallas. The concept draws on Major Food Group’s growing presence in the city and its deep respect for the local food in Dallas and Texas beyond.

No.1 STEAK will operate each Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, offering a refined four-course menu for $59 that includes a fresh Greens Salad with whole-grain mustard dressing, Prime Strip Steak with green peppercorn sauce, Crispy Texas Onion Rings, and Housemade Frozen Yogurt with salted caramel sauce.

Guests can also upgrade their experience with premium cuts sourced from local favorite Rosewood Ranches, complemented by a curated wine list and signature Martini Menu, with additional à la carte options including Caviar Service, Oysters, Shrimp Cocktail and German Chocolate Cake.

Monarch, will host a one-night-only benefit dinner on Monday, August 25, in support of the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. The Texas Hill Country Benefit Dinner at Monarch will feature an evening of elegant hospitality, complete with a cocktail reception, curated silent auction, live music, and a seasonal five-course menu crafted exclusively for the occasion.

Tickets start at $200 per guest, with premium tables and window booths available for group reservations. All proceeds from the evening, including ticket sales and auction revenue, will directly benefit the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, supporting flood recovery efforts and long-term community rebuilding.

Monarch is an acclaimed wood-fired modern Italian restaurant atop the National building in Downtown Dallas with Michelin-Starred Chef Danny Grant. “We’re honored to use our space and platform to give back in a meaningful way,” said Chef Danny Grant.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) announces Megan and Keith Conlon as chairs of the 2026 Saint Valentine’s Day Fashion Show & Luncheon. Both proud Highland Park natives, Megan and Keith Conlon embody a dynamic blend of community leadership and heartfelt philanthropy.

Celebrating its 42nd year, the annual fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.

Founded by Janet Evans and Rusty Duvall, the Saint Valentine’s Day Luncheon and Fashion Show has raised $16 million in its 41 years, funding research in Texas, including UT Southwestern Medical Center. Since its inception some patient survival rates have doubled and countless advances have been made with new safer treatments for patients.

Community Partners of Dallas (CPD) celebrated its 19th annual Chick Lit Luncheon, presented by Dr. Robert and Lara Tafel this spring at the Hilton Anatole. A night to remember! The 35th Anniversary Children’s Cancer Fund Gala brought the Dallas community together to honor 20 courageous pediatric cancer warriors, who walked the runway hand-in-hand with celebrity escorts in front of a sold-out crowd.

Led by Co-Chairs Lori Jones and Meredith Land, and proudly supported by Honorary Chairs Troy Aikman and Dak Prescott, this milestone event raised critical funds to advance pediatric cancer research and compassionate care at Children’s Health and UT Southwestern.
