A much anticipated cold front moves into North Texas today, bringing chances of rain and thunderstorms. Some areas may experience heavy rainfall and potential severe weather, with quarter-sized hail and wind gusts up to 60 MPH as the main severe weather concerns. The risk of severe weather is higher east of the I-35 corridor and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Cooler, fall-like conditions arrive tonight after the front passes, with lows in the 50s Sunday morning and highs in the 70s Sunday afternoon under sunny skies.
