We headed out of town to provide headshots for a client, it's not always easy to travel with lighting and backgrounds, but made it happen. This is one of the sample shots, it was a 3 point lighting system we set up for a look the client wanted.

We ended 2021 with a quick trip up to Colorado Springs and Frisco for some snow.

After a crazy past couple of years. Dealing with effects of the pandemic, having a baby boy Oct 2020, having to put to sleep one of our dogs, keeping the business alive and creating new clients despite everything, the biggest slap in the face with dad passing away July of 2021.
It's definitely been a growing experience through all of it.
Jim Gaffigan said "we all went through the same pandemic, but not everyone had the same experience"
I'm hopeful this new year is progressive.

Getting back into the swing of things after an emotional past few weeks with dad passing.
The fun part with any life experience is playing catch up.
While I am editing non stop to get caught up on previous work I am also looking through some old work, here's an old shot from a fun product shoot at a fitness gym in
My dear dad, you were the best man I've ever known. You taught me how to be a good man and a good father. You taught me not to kiss butt or cut corners just to get ahead. You taught me to not let the little things in life get me down. And best of all you taught me sarcasm :)
I thank you for all the wonderful memories you gave us, life was never easy for you so I thank you too for all of the effort you made to care and provide for us so that our life was better, we always came first.
I use to joke and say you were the best dad I've ever had since you were the only dad we've ever had, but you really were the best dad I could have asked for.
We can't pick our parents, but I am so happy you were one of mine.
Nothing in this life will fill what we've lost, but I look forward to seeing you again when we won't have to deal with any of the problems of this world.

Am I the only one that shoots in 4k even when not needing to deliver in 4k?
Any time I get the chance to work with athletes I jump on it. It's always fun and you get to be pretty creative. Here's a snap from recent shoot and there's more coming.

Have you seen the lagoon at Windsong Ranch in Prosper? It's pretty amazing. Was brought out months ago to get some new promotional images of the lagoon. I'd love to have this in my backyard.
