Tuscan Parmesan Chicken Penne in Garlic Cream ๐๐ง๐

Juicy seared chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and penne pasta tossed in a velvety garlic-Parmesan cream sauce with Tuscan herbs. Creamy, savory, and done in 30 โ itโs a skillet full of bold, Italian-style comfort! ๐ฎ๐น๐ฅ๐๐
Ingredients:
12 oz penne pasta
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
ยฝ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (oil-packed, drained)
ยพ cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
ยพ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup baby spinach (optional)
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)
Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil penne in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sear the Chicken:
Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook chicken 6โ7 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Make the Garlic Cream Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter and sautรฉ garlic for 1 minute.
Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another 1โ2 minutes.
Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Cheese & Finish the Sauce:
Stir in Parmesan until melted and creamy.
Add spinach if using and let wilt slightly.
Bring It All Together:
Return chicken and penne to the skillet. Toss everything in the creamy Tuscan sauce.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot!
