I got into the paranormal years and years ago. I can't say that there was a specific "thing" that ever happened that took me in that direction. Over the years, I have seen shadow people (not often) and been fascinated by stories of ghosts, poltergeists and such that created a great curiosity about the paranormal. I have followed the field most of my life. I love hearing stories of people who have had actual experiences with the paranormal. Granted, they may or may not be true, but if they believe it, it just might be true. I am only reasonably skeptical, which means that I usually believe and then look at the situation for obvious problems, unlike some who just cannot even admit the possibility of truth in the story. After I retired, I started following these stories more than before.
