🚨 Plano Restaurant Closures: Nearly 70 Roaches Found 🚨

Health inspectors shut down two Plano restaurants after disturbing discoveries during late-August inspections.

👉 At Hello! India (Ohio Dr.), dirty dishes, poor food safety practices, and roaches were found. The restaurant scored just 63 out of 100 — the lowest in this round of inspections.

👉 At Town Desis (Coit Rd.), inspectors counted 68 roaches and 30+ flies in the kitchen. Raw chicken was sitting on the floor, and food wasn’t kept at safe temperatures. Score: 72.

Several other spots, including Cafe Istanbul, Sushi Masa, Oishii Parkwood, Goc Vietnam, and New Main Street Eatery, also scored below 80 for issues ranging from dirty equipment to unsafe food storage.

📉 In Plano, a score of 70 is considered extremely poor. Both closed restaurants must pass follow-up inspections before reopening.

Repost from :(At Robert W. Coleman Elementary in Baltimore, staff replaced detention with a “Mindful Moment Room” — a soothing space filled with soft lighting and plush pillows where students practice breathing and meditation instead of traditional punishment.
Partnering with the Holistic Life Foundation’s “Holistic Me” program, the school supports students with yoga, mindfulness, gardening, environmental cleanup, and even leadership roles as co-teachers. Parents have shared stories of their kids helping them de-stress by teaching them to breathe.
Since implementing this approach, the school has recorded zero suspensions since the 2014-15 year — a remarkable shift showing the power of self-regulation, reflection, and connection.)
