Can't think of a better way to wind down the weekend and kick off the week on a great note than creating a lovely moment for myself by FINALLY digging into the summer 2018 issue of Domino Magazine.
On the cover are two total creative dynamos, Elaine Welteroth and Cleo Wade.
I couldn't resist flipping directly to their featured article--and I'm so glad I did, because there was so freaking much goodness in it.
One of my fave excerpts was about how the 2 became friends--a friendship based on what Elaine called "a modern day millennial girl crush"--where Cleo, when asked by Elaine to contribute to Teen Vogue, invited Elaine to have tea first instead at her place.
The two dined "like queens" on vegan sushi that night and "talking about everything under the sun." After Elaine left Cleos apartment she said she was like "I will know this girl forever." How fabulous is that?!
I love that this friendship was not only born from two women who mutually admired each other and opened up to each other, but also the fact that they both came to the table wanting to build each other up. 💕
Finding myself so inspired by these two amazing women/creative entrepreneurs who have inspired me to do more for others; to nurture my creative spirit; and to seek out the kind of connections they have with women I admire and who inspire, too.
Well, the tone of my week has fully been set, people! So tell me: what are 2 or 3 words you can use to intentionally set the tone of your week?
