During this week’s City Council meeting, Darlene Singleton of the Rockwall Historical Foundation thanked City Council and community leaders for their support of the America 250 celebration.

More than 350 commemorative banners have been installed throughout Rockwall County to honor our nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary, with many prominently displayed in Downtown Rockwall and The Harbor. HEATH, Texas – June 1, 2026 – Atmos Energy will perform routine maintenance resulting in the safe removal of natural gas beginning Tuesday, June 2, through Friday, June 5, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day at 884 Bois D Arc in Heath. Atmos Energy customers will not experience any service interruption while the work is being performed, and city staff, public officials, 911 operators, and emergency responders have been advised.
