I’ve washed, polished, and waxed since I was 13. I love trying different detail products to see how they work. My toolbox is more of a wax caddy these days.

With a super smooth surface, thanks to the Jax Wax DFW clay bar mitt, I turned to what i call the Griot Trio from Griot's Garage - Polish, 3-in-1, and BoS Wax. With a Griot buffer and pads the results are terrific. Not a perfect finish, per se, but much closer than it was. Besides, the Honda is a bread winning daily driver that lives outside. Mostly my goal was a clean, protected surface that will withstand the summer sun.

Good day to try out a new clay mitt from Jax Wax DFW. Pleasantly surprised at how well it did cutting the crud off the 2015 Honda. Clayed the whole car, the mitt seemed to have handled it well. I thought by the end of the car it would be done, but it appears to have quite a bit of life left in it. My previous mitt, which I still have after a multitude of uses, is still useful, but is at the end of its life. It cost double the Jax mitt, so it’ll be interesting to see how much use this one will deliver.

Dan Crocker, known throughout the motorsports scene as “Showman Dan,” is a very famous chef throughout the global racing community. He shares some funny stories and many memories of his decades of escapades in the "traveling circus" as a team chef for Chip Ganassi Racing and Trackhouse Racing.

Most people do not know that race teams like NASCAR, IndyCar, and in most of the professional racing circuits around the world have their own team chef that travels to each race with their traveling kitchen on wheels.

“Showman” has created some of the most famous recipes and shared his chef skills serving race teams, drivers, the crew, numerous celebrities, government officials, and VIP’s, to the tune of feeding over 300+ people per day, 3 meals a day, sourcing local foods from farmers and the surrounding area of each track, all cooked on outdoor grills in every type of weather condition. Yes, even baking homemade cookies, breads, and desserts in the outdoors. Now, this takes some serious skills.
