Groundbreaking Progress in Prosper!

Town of Prosper, Texas Government

Today marked an exciting milestone as the Children’s Hunger Fund broke ground on their brand-new 85,000 sq. ft. facility right here in Prosper. This future-forward center will serve as a powerful regional hub, providing over 5 million meals annually across North Texas and helping distribute more than 100 million meals worldwide each year.

From the Volunteer Center to the immersive Poverty Encounter exhibit, this facility will offer education, collaboration, and life-changing outreach both locally and globally.

We’re proud to support CHF’s mission to deliver hope, tackle food insecurity, and make a meaningful impact.

Honoring Our Heroes in Blue

Join the Prosper community on May 15 at 10 a.m. at the Prosper Police Station, 801 Safety Way, for the annual National Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony. This solemn event is held in remembrance of the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect and serve.

Let us come together to honor their courage, commitment, and the legacy of service they leave behind. Your presence is a powerful way to show support for those who serve, and for the families who carry their memory forward.

We Are PROSPER

PROSPER Magazine, published by Cedarbrook Media, launched the first issue in September 2012. Our intention was to become a positive source of information for everything Prosper. The goal was to highlight all of the wonderful reasons why so many of us chose this as our home. We wanted to work with the school district to highlight our amazing students and athletes. We wanted to work with the Town to promote all of the wonderful things coming our way and events our residents could take part in. And we wanted to work with organizations who were already doing so much good where it was needed in the community.

The publishers and owners of Cedarbrook Media, Heather and Jason Reynolds, are active members of the Prosper community. They have founded and implemented several of Prosper’s annual community events, including Summerfest, Pride in the Sky and Prosper Pumpkinfest. They also organize and facilitate the Meet the Candidates Forum each spring to introduce the public to their Town Council and School Board hopefuls and incumbents. Jason served several years on the Board of Directors for the Prosper Chamber of Commerce and Heather has served as the President of the Prosper Education Foundation, as well as the President of the Prosper Talonette Booster Club. The are involved in numerous other community organizations, groups and committees and have been for the better part of a decade.

We’re proud of the publication and the organization we’ve created. We’ve had wonderful opportunities to tell so many stories...stories that bring tears of joy to our eyes and a warmth within as we look back on them. We’ve been involved in making a difference and in helping to keep our growing town feel small and connected. We’ve celebrated new businesses coming to town, our students achieving greatness and leaving the nest, the building of new schools and facilities and the changing landscape of Prosper. We’re blessed to have been along for the ride, and we’re excited for what is coming next. We Are PROSPER!!
