City of Kaufman Residents:
A water main break on Royal Drive is currently being repaired. Residents in the area will experience water interruption for the next few hours while our crews work diligently to repair the break and restore service. Questions may be directed to Kaufman Public Works at 972-962-8007.

It's almost time to welcome all of our students back for the 2025-2026 school year!!!

To help prepare for the first day, the start and end times for each campus are below:

⏱ Helen Edwards: 7:50 AM - 3:50 PM
⏱ Elementary: 7:50 AM - 3:50 PM
⏱ Middle School: 7:40 AM - 3:40 PM
⏱ High School: 7:40 AM - 3:40 PM

The first day of school is Thursday, August 14!! See you soon!

📢ATTENTION: MULTIPLE ROAD CLOSURES are scheduled for this Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16. Please take notice of the map and the information that is included in the comments.

On Friday, August 15 W. 4th Street from Houston Street to Washington Street will be CLOSED. On Saturday, August 16 S. Jackson Street from W. 8th Street to W. 4th Street will be CLOSED.

⌚️WORK WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 7AM-7PM EACH DAY

💧OUTSIDE WATER MUST BE TURNED OFF

🚕VEHICLES PARKED WITHIN 50 FEET OF ANY STREET BEING WORKED ON WILL BE TOWED

🛺A SHUTTLE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO TAKE YOU TO AND FROM YOUR CAR IF IT IS PARKED AT AN ALTERNATE LOCATION *NOTE SHUTTLE DISCLAIMER IN THE COMMENTS.

🚑EMERGENCY VEHICLES FOR LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCIES WILL BE GRANTED ENTRY.

❌DO NOT DRIVE ON THE ROADS THAT ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. *Minimum repair cost is $750 to repair the installed surface treatment.
