# # # **राहुल और उसकी जिज्ञासा**
राहुल को रहस्यमयी जगहों के बारे में जानने का बहुत शौक था। जब उसने हवेली के बारे में सुना, तो उसकी उत्सुकता बढ़ गई। उसके दोस्त चेतन, पायल और समीर ने उसे समझाने की बहुत कोशिश की कि वहाँ जाना खतरे से खाली नहीं है, पर राहुल ने ठान लिया था कि वह इस रहस्य से पर्दा उठाकर रहेगा।
एक दिन, बिना किसी को बताए, राहुल ने हवेली में जाने की योजना बनाई। आधी रात को, एक टॉर्च और मोबाइल लेकर वह जंगल की तरफ निकल पड़ा।

हवेली के पास पहुँचते ही उसे ठंडी हवा का झोंका महसूस हुआ। चारों ओर अजीब-सा सन्नाटा था। दरवाजा हल्के से धक्का देते ही चरमराने की आवाज़ के साथ खुल गया। अंदर घुप्प अंधेरा था। उसने टॉर्च जलाकर इधर-उधर देखा।
हॉल में पुरानी पेंटिंग्स टंगी थीं, जिन पर धूल जमी थी। दीवारों पर मकड़ी के जाले थे और फर्श पर टूटी हुई लकड़ियाँ बिखरी थीं। अचानक, उसे एक हल्की सरसराहट सुनाई दी। वह चौंका, लेकिन खुद को संभालते हुए आगे बढ़ा।
# # # **रहस्यमयी परछाई**
राहुल धीरे-धीरे सीढ़ियों से ऊपर चढ़ने लगा। तभी उसे एक परछाई दिखी जो तेजी से एक कमरे में चली गई। राहुल की धड़कन तेज हो गई, पर उसने हिम्मत नहीं हारी। वह उस कमरे की ओर बढ़ा और दरवाजा खोला।
कमरे में एक पुरानी अलमारी थी, एक टूटा हुआ झूला और दीवार पर एक पुरानी तस्वीर टंगी थी। तस्वीर में एक परिवार था—एक आदमी, एक औरत और एक बच्चा। अचानक, हवा का एक झोंका आया और तस्वीर ज़मीन पर गिर गई।
राहुल ने अलमारी खोलने की कोशिश की, लेकिन वह जाम थी। तभी उसे पीछे से किसी के सांस लेने की आवाज़ सुनाई दी। उसने तुरंत मुड़कर देखा, पर वहाँ कोई नहीं था।
