Its publications include a sister weekly, Midlothian Mirror, along with Destination Ellis County, Ellis County Business Journal, Varsity Sport & Spirit and The Ellis County Trading Post. The Daily Light and Midlothian Mirror are the official newspaper for the Cities of
Waxahachie, Midlothian, Ovilla, Maypearl, Italy and Venus, as well as for Waxahachie, Red Oak, Midlothian, Maypearl and Italy ISDs. RULES OF CONDUCT:

- Threats of harming anyone will not be tolerated in any way.

- We would love to hear eyewitness accounts, the history behind an article.
- Keep discussions going, but keep them healthy. Consequences: Comments breaking any of these rules will be deleted or hidden, and are judged on a case by case basis. Repeat offenders may be banned.
