Papers are published by CherryRoad Media Division. Accountability expected. The Waxahachie Daily Light serves all of Ellis County. Its publications include a sister weekly, Midlothian Mirror, along with Destination Ellis County, Ellis County Business Journal, Varsity Sport & Spirit and The Ellis County Trading Post. The Daily Light and Midlothian Mirror are the official newspaper for the Cities of Waxahachie, Midlothian, Ovilla, Maypearl, Italy and Venus, as well as for Waxahachie, Red Oak, Midlothian, Maypearl and Italy ISDs. - Don't post political ads.
- Threats of harming anyone will not be tolerated in any way.
- Treat others like you would want to be treated.
- We would love to hear eyewitness accounts, the history behind an article.
- Keep discussions going, but keep them healthy. Consequences: Comments breaking any of these rules will be deleted or hidden, and are judged on a case by case basis. Repeat offenders may be banned.
