📍LONG POST📍
When God told me to move I didn’t jump at the idea especially considering He told me to move to a super red state known for some foolishness, 800 miles from my people where I knew nobody.
I tried to put it off and even talked myself out of it a few times but the feeling of not being obedient to God was tugging on my spirit constantly. I knew for my life to go as God planned I had to take the leap of faith.
One day I’ll tell the story how things fell into place but not without a few detours but I finally made the move in 2024.
This journey has been nothing like I imagined. I’ve had tons of lows that honestly would have broken me before but the strength I’ve found in God and in myself during this journey has been nothing short of His hand being on me.
I don’t know what the future will hold. Will I return back to Atlanta? Will Dallas be forever? Will I wake up one day married with kids? Who knows but I will continue to take it one day at a time.
Here is to officially being a Dallas resident with a Texas drivers license and here is to the endless blessings coming my way.
