I'm originally from Kansas City and currently reside in Dallas, Texas. I dedicated eight incredible years to local television news, honing my craft in prestigious markets such as Boston, Omaha, Waco, and Dallas. During that time, I was honored to receive an Emmy Award for a special news segment focused on Black History Month. In 2023, I launched my own digital marketing agency, Essocial Co, empowe
ring small businesses to grow online and reach customers digitally. As I explored new passions, I also began to establish myself as an influencer, sharing snapshots of my daily life—including my engagement, fitness routine and beauty tips, and tricks—which has blossomed into a profitable venture. Today, I am fully self-employed, but I don't discount the fact that I continue using invaluable skills I gained as a journalist in my day-to-day work.
