For 2020, the 30th anniversary of DES, I have added some absolutely futuristic new digital processing and software, including the new iZotope Ozone 8 mastering tools and RX7 restoration and repair tools, along with a plethora of digital finishing plugins. The biggest change is I am moving from my long-standing (26 years) platform of SonicStudio (formerly Sonic Solutions) to Steinberg's WaveLab 10 Pro for my mastering DAW. Sonic just does not have the oomph now to keep up with current technology, and with that changing so fast, a mastering room cannot afford to lag behind. To get me aquatinted with all of this greatness, I am mastering the new album "Starlight" for my longstanding client, GOOD, which I guess could be described as EDM from space. Watch for it, and be prepared to hear some amazing music, and mastering!
