Meet Noodles, our tripod warrior 💛. Every day his back legs work extra hard to make up for the ones he’s missing, and that means they sometimes get tight and sore. Therapy stretches like this are part of his routine to keep him strong, balanced, and moving with joy.

Noodles reminds us that challenges don’t have to hold us back — they can shape us into who we’re meant to be. 💪🐾 His determination shows that with a little extra care, a lot of heart, and the right support, we can all rise above what tries to weigh us down.

🐾✨ A Story of Hope, Science, and Second Chances ✨🐾

Meet Lola, a 9-year-old Golden Retriever who was given less than six months to live after being diagnosed with aggressive oral melanoma. Her cancer had already spread to her lungs. 💔

But instead of giving up, Lola and her family chose to fight—with the help of the amazing team at UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Lola was enrolled in a clinical trial for a new inhaled immunotherapy treatment, designed to teach the immune system to recognize and fight cancer.

At first, things looked worse—her tumors even grew—but then something incredible happened. The growth turned out to be pseudoprogression: inflammation that makes tumors appear larger before they shrink. And shrink they did.

✨ Today, nearly two years later, Lola is completely cancer-free. ✨

Her journey shows us:
💡 Veterinary medicine isn’t just about helping animals—it’s pushing the boundaries of science for humans, too.
💡 Dogs in clinical trials play a huge role in advancing cancer treatments across species.
💡 Hope + love + research can change the story, even when odds seem impossible.

🐾💛 Agility fun today! 💛🐾

My granddaughter Zoey (6) and her dog Tink started their very first pre-novice agility class with me and Libby today. It was such a joy to watch them learning together.

Agility at this stage is all about building the bond between handler and dog, and my heart is just so full seeing Zoey and Tink take these first steps as a team. 💕

🌟🐾 Exciting News 🐾🌟

Our sweet boy Dutch has earned his spot as a First Responder Therapy Dog! 💛 He’ll soon be joining Jack, who is already certified, so the two of them can serve together as a team. 🐶🐶✨

We’re so excited to get both boys active — sharing comfort, smiles, and golden love with those who need it most.

Grateful for this journey and looking forward to the impact they’ll make together. 💕

🌟🐾 Congratulations, Arlo! 🐾🌟

Our sweet boy Arlo’s Happy on Monday Promised Love has earned his AKC Trick Dog Novice Title. 🎉

He’s been gaining confidence through agility and having so much fun learning new tricks. 💛 Watching him grow has been such a gift, and we’re thankful for every step of this journey.

Tomorrow we start Level 3 Agility — looking forward to learning, laughing, and simply enjoying the ride together. 🐾✨

Here’s the long winded video of what we battled from getting new sod. Thankfully found Healthy Paw Life as a natural cure to healing their skin. *We believe our issue was harvesting mites or fungus from the new sod but this stuff works!

We often see the happy moments on here — the smiles, the wins, the celebrations — and those are wonderful to share. But I just want to remind anyone who needs to hear it: no one’s life is perfect. Behind every smile there are struggles, and behind every highlight there are ups and downs.

If you notice someone sharing a hard moment, take a second to respond — even a simple word of kindness can mean more than you’ll ever know. And if you see someone posting a win that might seem like bragging, remember it’s usually just a joyful moment they wanted to celebrate.

This isn’t about me, and it’s not for attention — it’s about connection. Social media should be more than just scrolling. It’s about lifting each other up, whether that’s clapping for the good days or sitting quietly with someone in the hard ones.

So let’s keep sharing the good — it spreads joy — but also remember it’s okay to be real and to support each other through the tough stuff too. None of us are alone in this. 💛
