When Texas has been stuck on 100° for what feels like forever, the pool becomes the living room. 😂☀️💦 The big dogs are chilling, Holly is swimming, jumping, and attacking Noodles’ tail—and Noodles is hopping in and out like he was born for pool life! 🐾

One of our puppy families recently shared these beautiful words about Jellybean. I’m honored that she trusted me with something so personal, and I’m sharing it as a tender reminder of how deeply dogs can connect with us—even at such a young age.

“People say dogs can sense when people need them, and over this past week, I’ve found that to be absolutely true.

Our dear friends—the kind of friends you do life with—suffered a very unexpected loss that has been difficult to process. Life around them, and us, came to a screeching stop.

When we returned home, Jellybean, at only 12 weeks old, seemed to know that something was heavy on our hearts. Throughout the week, she was calm, patient, sweet and loving. Her behavior was different—more mature—and she was very attentive to us. I truly believe she knew something was wrong.

We waited for a puppy from Jill’s program because of the temperaments of her dogs and the history of therapy dogs within her program. We knew how much love and care Jill puts into her dogs, but it wasn’t until I watched our sweet girl, at only three months old, know how to love us through a time of sorrow that I fully understood.

Our sweet empty-nest puppy was here exactly when we needed her to be. It’s simply who she is, and we are so thankful for her.” 🩷

Thank you for allowing me to share this precious moment. Please know that everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss is being held close in our thoughts and prayers. 🤍
