Reel FX Animation Over the course of our 30-year history, Reel FX Animation has blazed paths in animation and entertainment that span genres, media and styles. We are artists.

With offices spanning North America, the heart of the studio has been creating animated features, be it a partner project, or one of our own. The Book of Life, The Monkey King, Rumble, Back to the Outback, and SCOOB to name a few, but it doesn’t stop there. Reel FX Animation formed an entire division dedicated to Virtual Production, which utilizes our proprietary Unreal Engine-based pipeline (Refl

ex). Using this technology, we created the 10-episode animated comedy Super Giant Robot Brothers! through Netflix in 2022, the first of its kind. Original films The Book of Life, Free Birds, and the latest, Rumble, illustrate our longstanding creative obsession. Our artists have received the most prestigious accolades in the industry, including Academy, Golden Globe, Emmy, Annie and Clio Awards. We are innovators. We are Reel FX.
