Takers struggle in the presence of true Givers.
Because takers move from fear—they take without asking, steal in silence, and run before you notice. Not because they’re strong, but because they’re scared of hearing “no.” Scared that what they need might not be freely given.
But Givers move from love. They give without hesitation, with joy, with peace—because they know their source. And like God’s love, what they have is abundant, always replenished.
So when someone tries to “get over” on you, don’t let it harden your heart. Your ability to give is evidence of your overflow, not your weakness.
Set your boundaries. Protect your peace. But don’t stop giving.
Because your giving comes from a place takers may never understand. And when they can’t manipulate or take, they’ll move on in search of scarcity—because abundance confuses them.
Stay rooted in love. Stay full. Stay free.
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
—2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)
