I tell the nephews that when you’re with us everything is free, someone you don’t know that loves you has paid in advance, but you pay with respect and gratitude, and you may have to tip as well, but the essentials are covered. I didn’t even have to tell the youngest Nephew of the day, Young Ace to tip. He saw me going in my pocket to tip the server and pulled out his knot and gave me 5 bucks to put with it. Lol. I love these young boys. We owe these youngsters more than we are giving them, they deserve more! (My opinion)

Pulled down on my Neice “GiGi The Gemini” at Howard Homecomimg. Shes really enjoying her freshmen year at HU and I’m an extremely proud Unc. Now I have to find my sophomore lil cuzzo Trinity in this homecoming madnes, and this will be the fullest my heart has ever been on a work trip! .

Fatherhood Fridays is coming right up. Being a man, a black man, a father, is a blessing that continuously gives, but on the other hand, it can be just as... ummmmm.

It’s hard to explain, damn near impossible to articulate at times, but every man, every father, feels what I cannot find the words to describe in this moment. That’s why it’s essential that we, as men who bear the same crosses, confront the same struggles, and attempt to navigate the same darkness, recognize, publicly support, and uplift each other in a world that’s constantly grading and degrading us.

It’s in that spirit of BrotherHood and duty in which these tokens of Appreciation were pressed up for some of the Bruhs we recognize out there that are heart broken with broken backs but still carrying the weight of breaking generational curses/cycles. We pulling up on ya mane. Fridays will never be the same.
