Ok so I finally tried EveryPlate and y’all… why did I wait so long? 😩

My coworker initially told me about it because as a busy single mom, cooking after a long day is literally the last thing I want to do.

But this One-Pan Southwest Chicken Fajita meal was done in 30 minutes and it was actually GOOD. 600 calories, real ingredients, and I didn’t have to think about a single thing.

Black History Month hits different when your baby is inspired by another young Black girl who turned an idea into a whole legacy. ✨

Czaria learned about , the founder of Me & the Bees Lemonade, at school… and immediately said, “We need to go try it.” So of course we made our first trip to H-E-B to support.

Not only did she support… she gave a full review. And let’s just say — she approves. 🍋🐝

Representation matters. Ownership matters. And watching her see what’s possible for herself? That’s the real win.

Blush Romance Bookstore in Bishop Arts understood the assignment.

In honor of Black History Month, I’m pouring into Black love stories written by Black women. Kennedy Ryan. Tia Williams. Stories about healing, power, second chances, and real love.

There’s something powerful about reading Black love through our lens.

Right now, this is the only romance I’m entertaining… and honestly? It’s peaceful over here. Standards are rising accordingly.

Today I opened my storage unit for the first time since leaving Texas in 2023.

I thought I was just coming to grab “stuff.”
But what I really walked into were pieces of my old life I wasn’t ready to face back then.

I didn’t even remember what was in here. And honestly, I was a little scared to find out.

It’s wild how we pack things away when we’re in survival mode… and how different it feels to come back when you’re healing.

Back in Dallas and leaning all the way into mommy & me moments 🤍

Today was one of those days that reminds me why slowing down matters.

Curiosity, laughter, tiny hands touching everything, big questions, and even bigger smiles.

The Perot Museum gave us more than just exhibits today.
It gave us joy.
It gave us connection.
It gave us a core memory I’ll carry forever.

This season is about choosing presence, choosing happiness, and letting my daughter see what it looks like to explore life with wonder
