Opinions please! My cabinets are Balboa Mist and my counter top Calacatta Idilio. What are your thoughts on the herringbone backsplash in this picture? Should I do a subway tile ( shown next to herringbone sample) instead? Also trying to figure out what color to paint my walls that would go nicely with the Balboa Mist.

Before/After photo after finally taking the plunge with an accent wall. Urbane Bronze by Sherwin Williams. Always bothered me to have a white wall with a white headboard but struggled with how to make it work w/fireplace stacked stone. Super happy with the results. Room feels warm, cozy, & balanced.

I know there has been a ton of discussion in this group around this sectional. I am torn between this and a love sac sectional. Love sac is twice the price, but does come with a lifetime warranty. I want to hear from anyone who owns the sectional below or a love sac. What do you love and what do you hate? I have cats, a dog and a 9yo son who all will make whichever one I choose their own so pet/child experience a huge plus! TIA!

*edit to add, this is the floor model, mine would be a smaller version. The covers are removable on this one as well and the fabric also has a grey option.

We are about to pick a color and paint nearly our whole home in a much lighter, brighter neutral. I lean towards clean, modern farmhouse decor. We have dark wood floors and cabinets. Left to right these are SW 1. Creamy 2. Drift of Mist 3. Natural Choice. Would love to hear thoughts and suggestions. I think we are leaving the trim as is for now.
*Thank you to all who took time to share your thoughts and advice! I never expected the outpouring of wisdom shared here. Wow!! We ended up popping up a few other samples throughout the house in other rooms and settled on Shoji White. It is somewhere between Creamy (the obvious favorite here) and Natural Choice (my original fav). I’m not sure when we’ll get around to painting trim and Shoji White has just enough contrast to highlight the trim but sill has a warm, clean feel - with less green undertone. Thanks again!!

Help needed. We are stuck bc my ceiling is 10ft. My contractor tells me I need 10” board to fill in the gap. My cabinets are by Fabuwood (Dove color)and they don’t carry 10” board. Any one figure out different way to fill in the gap. Small cabinets not an option too much $$

I am back with an update -

After many of you recommended I get the same rug for my living room as I have in my dining room. I finally bit the bullet and I did it. I absolutely love it.

I already knew that I loved this rug, but I was just nervous on covering up my flooring. I did finally decide on a coffee table. I went with an oval shape and it should arrive tomorrow 🫶🏼
