Jesus is the Word (John 1:1–4). As you know Him through Scripture, your prayers become less about searching for the right words and more about agreeing with what God has already spoken.

His Word becomes the language of your prayers.

Maybe last week felt overwhelming.
Maybe you even questioned whether God was still working.
But God is still working every detail together for your good, even the parts you don’t yet understand.

So carry God’s promise to you this week:
“I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.”
— Psalm 16:8–9

Let this be your declaration this week: “I shall not be shaken.”

What do you do when your current reality fights what God has said?

I’ve been reflecting on this ever since Part 1 of my conversation with PTems. |They Said Lung Cancer. Every Single Test Came Back Negative| A Faith Testimony

Hard seasons have a way of making us question what’s true, but the Word of God is the reality we ground ourselves in.

Maybe you’ve been carrying the weight of what you see. If so, you’re not alone. But your present circumstances don’t have the final word, Christ does. He is the Word, and He is your life.

So keep returning to Him. Keep letting His truth shape your perspective. Because while this world brings trouble, our hope is anchored in the One who has already overcome it.
