The 2026 Junior Symphony Ball proved once again why it’s known as the “party with a purpose,” raising a record-breaking $593,500 to support the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s music education and community outreach programs. Held at Gilley’s Dallas, the sold-out event welcomed more than 3,000 students from over 35 schools across the metroplex for an unforgettable evening of giving back and celebration.

Preston Hollow was proudly represented by co-chairs Lucy Galbraith and Brooks Strey, along with their families, who helped lead this incredible student-driven tradition. Now in its 68th year, the Junior Symphony Ball continues to empower young leaders while helping provide music education opportunities to thousands of students across North Texas. 🎻✨

🌸🐥 Spring has officially sprung in Preston Hollow North, and one local family is putting nature first! The Smith family’s landscaping plans are on hold while Debbie the Mallard duck settles into her cozy nest right in the middle of their garden project.

With hopes of welcoming a brood of adorable ducklings soon, the family is embracing the beauty of sharing our neighborhoods with furry and feathered friends. 💛

From bravery and determination to a little patience and kindness, Debbie’s story is a sweet reminder of “Mother Nature” at its finest.

More than 400 guests gathered at Gilley’s Dallas for this year’s AWARE Affair: Boots, Buckles & Brain Health — a powerful evening dedicated to supporting those impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia. 🤍👢

Hosted by AWARE North Texas, the event brought together caregivers, advocates, supporters, and community leaders for a night focused on connection, compassion, and hope. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, critical funds were raised to support local nonprofits providing research, education, caregiver resources, and programs for families affected by dementia.

A beautiful reminder of what our community can accomplish when we come together for a meaningful cause. 💙
