not for the food,
not for the photos,
but for the quiet reminder that life is short
and the people we love are everything.
Thanksgiving hits differently when you've lived enough life to understand this:
Gratitude isn't in the big things.
It's in the small, ordinary, irreplaceable moments.
The late-night talks.
The โcall me when you get home.โ
The hands that still reach for you even when they're tired.
The faces that light up just because you walked into the room.
This year, I'm grateful forโฆ
the storms I survived,
the lessons that humbled me,
the people who stayed,
the prayers that were answered quietly,
and the strength I didn't know I had until I needed it.
If you're reading this today, I hope you give yourself permission to breathe.
To soften.
To appreciate the life in front of you โ not the life you think you โshouldโ have by now.
We all move fast.
We all chase goals.
We all carry battles no one can see.
But todayโฆ just pause.
Look around.
You're here.
You made it through things that once felt impossible.
And there are people in your world who are grateful for you โ more than you realize.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
May your heart feel full today, even if your life isn't perfect.
Because the imperfect parts are where all the love grows.
