Good Evening Friends,

I’m truly looking forward to a meaningful evening this Memorial Day weekend. This Sunday, May 25, I’ll be attending the Wayne Family Estates Wine Dinner at Los Vaqueros in Fort Worth, Texas. It will be hosted by the gracious Wayne family and I’m proud to share that I’ll also be part of a special art exhibit during the evening’s festivities.

Events like this are more than just a celebration of fine wine and good food, they’re a tribute to legacy. The Wayne family continues to carry the torch lit by their father, the legendary JOHN WAYNE! Duke was more than a film icon, he represented a steadfast American spirit. Rugged, honest, and unshakably loyal, he stood for the kind of values that seem harder to come by these days.

I’ve always admired the man and the myth, and seeing his family uphold that legacy through their wine and generosity is something special. I’m looking forward to raising a glass in good company, sharing stories, and honoring not just the Wayne name, but the spirit of the West we all hold dear.

In the picture below, I am standing with John Wayne's son, Ethan Wayne and Brandon Chaney, the Proprietor & CEO of Fairwinds Estate Winery. Both of these men are great guys and good friends.

I am so grateful to be part of this event! I'm even more grateful to remember that this weekend represents all those who’ve served and sacrificed so we could live free and gather like this.

So sorry to hear of the passing of the great Johnny Rodriguez yesterday. I had the pleasure of working with him many times over the years, and he was a kind and gracious man. Our deepest condolences go out to his daughter Aubry and the rest of his family, as well as his millions of fans around the world.
