This probably comes as a surprise, but this extremely creative household always has a hard time committing to Halloween costumes for Halloween. The girls wait till the very last minute because they just can’t decide what they want to be! This year, Maggie had her first big Halloween party with friends and really wanted a cute teen appropriate costume. She searched Pinterest for days and finally decided she wanted to be a black-and-white French-Inspired clown! Maggie just left for her first boy/girl Halloween party with her friends. We found a cute ruffled collared crop top and sewed a big black bow at the collar and added pom-Poms. Then, we found darling black ruffled bloomers. We got some white stockings with bows and paired it with black converse and black and white gingham ribbon laces. At the last minute, I made her a custom clown hat. I painted some stripes and added Pom Poms. Look how darling it turned out! She loves it so much!!! it’s the first time in a long time she’s loved a Halloween costume and I think she just looks tres chic! Now… onto Miss Betsy! 🤣

There’s nothing quite like the unconditional love of a dog! And, when you love furry friend more than life itself, there’s no bones about it, a Puppy Party is sure to be a tail-wagging great time! When I was asked to help her create a Paw-tastic party for a very special four-legged friend, I un-leashed all of my creative dreams and designed something to really howl about! Pet Parties are something we are seeing a lot in the events arena, and we all know there is no expense spared for our furry friends. We loved it all: the custom invitations, the specialty cocktails, the custom puppy treat station takeaway favors, the personalized place settings featuring portable pet bowls… It was a day full of belly rubs and tails wagging!

Little girls are just TUTU cute!!! This was just about the sweetest and most darling baby shower ever! created the prettiest tutu skirt invitations featuring satin ribbon and a diamond brooch! put together the most beautiful centerpieces adorned with ballet slippers and glass cloches! A wall of Tutus was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful shower! Bronze ballerinas were a highlight for this fine art loving mama! This shower was so very special! And what a fun unusual theme perfect for a sweet baby girl and mama to be showered with love!!!

Happy Happy Birthday to one INCREDIBLY SPECIAL 6 year old! Miss Betsy… you are one of a kind!!! Everyone that crosses your path says the same thing… “She is MAGIC!” You bring mystery, laughter, wonder, imagination, smiles, and just about every emotion we all love to experience!!! I hope you always have that little swinkle in your eye! You are fiercely loving and wildly funny! I am beyond grateful to have you as my daughter and I literally cannot wait to see what the year has to bring! Watching you grow and learn is such a joy! Being at your side to experience ALL the incredible experiences you’ve been blessed with is so very special! Keep dreaming my sweet girl… BIG THINGS are ahead for you!!! Happy Birthday my darling!!!

When your darling school decides to celebrate a successful fundraiser with “Superhero Day” with a little less than 24 hours notice, you break out some costume pieces, the laminator and some creativity! Oh, and you have a little girl who prefers fairytales and princesses over super hero’s!

Meet “Lil’ Red to the Rescue!” Little Miss Betsy created a storybook Super Hero and I have to say… I love this story! Lil’ Red is on a mission to save Grannies all over the world from the Big Bad Wolf! She’s baked up some poisonous cookies she says are sure to lure the wolves in and P**F! They’re sick as dogs and running for the hills! And grannies are safe and sound! She created this whole narrative on her own and also put her costume together. She asked me to make her a logo that she could wear so everyone would know who she was! I have to say, Miss Betsy, this is a darling story and I think we should write a little fairytale! You are the perfect Lil’ Red to the Rescue!!!

Soooooo honored to be a part of this incredible group of women! Being a part of the Committee is something that brings my HEART such joy!!! I have been blessed to meet some truly remarkable women I now call friends and work all year long raising funds for critical heart health research and funding! The team we work with at are wonderful and make our fundraising efforts all year seamless and so successful!

Statistics show that one person dies every 33 seconds from cardiovascular disease. The funds we raise in our community for this cause our critical! We are often asked to share our “why” for being a part of this amazing community! Thank you for sharing this great article spotlighting a few of our committee members in our local neighborhood and the HEARTfelt reasons “why” we give so much of our time to this great cause!

This is my “WHY” -

“I have had the joy of being part of the Phoenix Heart Ball Committee since 2017. The friendships I have cultivated with the women involved in this remarkable organization are cherished! My ‘why’ is my precious children. I want them to know that heart health is key to a long and healthy life. Being part of this organization has shown them that if people come together for a cause they believe in, anything is possible. Raising awareness about the importance of taking care of our hearts allows us to share them with our families, friends, and community.”

We are so beyond blessed to have you as our precious little girl. You bring such LIFE to this family... As you can tell from these pictures, this girl has SOOOOOO many facets! I am so incredibly lucky to be your mother! You love me sooooo deeply and I feel every ounce of your heart when you snuggle and squeeze me in your “Betsy Way!” The twinkle in your eye is REAL! You have a magic about you sweet girl... I cannot wait to see where this life journey takes you and the fact that I get to sit right next to you and experience it is the greatest gift God could have given me! Happy Halloween! Miss Betsy was the CUTEST little Wednesday Addams I ever did see! She insisted on this spooktacular makeup and gave us her perfect “Wednesday look!” Miss Maggie was an absolutely stunning Cinderella! I can’t stand how old they’re both getting but I’ll cherish these days where they both want to trick or treat together forever!!!!

The “Red Doors” finally made their grand appearance at the Phoenix Art Museum for Society of Chairs event! They were used to create a truly special Es**rt Card Wall. I love how it turned out and know we will be using this concept again! It wad such an elegant little vignette! Almost felt like a little spot in someone’s home! We used antique chair paintings in each frame to accompany the names because this was a fantastic event that honored chairs from fundraising events over the course of the last year! At each place setting, there were precious little clear ghost chairs with a chocolate atop the seat for each guest to take home. It was precious!!

Dennis and Erica at did an incredible job bringing our vision of shades of pink and bright red to life on the tables! The black and white tablecloths were just beautiful! It was a beautiful night and I was so honored to be a part of it all! Andrea Tyler Evans challenged me to come up with something unusual that was reflective of her brand - classic, refined and timeless! I think the collaborative effort of this group of vendors and this es**rt card wall did just that! And a huge thank you to for that PERFECT Red: Flirt Alert! Here’s a few pics of the wall, the flowers and the tables I snapped that night! Cheers to the Chairs!!!
