Road trip recap 🚙💨

📍5 hours to Little Rock, Arkansas
🛏️ Overnight in Little Rock
📍9 more hours to Indianapolis, Indiana
🏡 Then do it all again back home to Texas

Thousands of miles, plenty of snacks, and memories I'll be talking about for a long time. ❤️

The truck became my second home, lots of family hugs and outtings, my cousins kept me out until after 3 am like we didn't have responsibilities 😂, I reunited with old classmates over some amazing ice cream, and that king-size bed hit differently after long days.

These are the kinds of trips that remind me travel isn't always about seeing somewhere new. Sometimes it's about reconnecting with the people who make every mile worth it. 💛

Binged The Polygamist on Netflix, lost sleep, needed therapy, and somehow still ended up wanting to go back to South Africa. 😭 🇿🇦

I've done Cape Town, but Johannesburg might have to be next.

After wanting to visit for years, I finally made it to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Between exploring Onyx Cave, wandering through Basin Spring Park and downtown, visiting a local history museum, enjoying some great food, checking out the historic train depot, and touring the Crescent Hotel & Spa, this little town kept surprising me.

The best part? Staying off the grid in the middle of nowhere for a few days. Just what I needed.

Looks like I'll have to come back for the Crescent Hotel ghost tour and the dinner train.
