I am currently mentoring a 6th grader in her first writing project to help fundraise her way to Canada in June with the organization, "People to People International" as a Student Ambassador. Vanessa Cham is having fundraisers from Feb to June to raise her funds as a leader and Ambassador to Canada from RISD. Dorris A. Jones Elem. and only 1 of 30 students from the DFW area! What a blessing and honor to get to work with her and her family. I also was blessed to have her little brother in my class in first grade as well, both at Dorris A.Jones Elem. She has already had 3 fundraisers at CiCi'S Pizza, Chili's. and Joe Willy's. Next up, is Taco Bueno, next Tuesday. Mark your calendars! Save the date for Dining In or Take Out! March 18th from 5:00-9:00

How many writers are out there???? How many people have always wanted to write their story, but haven't? Don't allow anything from hindering you getting started.. just start with writing down your thoughts, and ideas... Then go from there, but if your book is to have impact on the lives of others for Jesus Christ and to bring honor and glory to HIZm, start everyday with a prayer for guidance in your writings! HE should get the praise and glory for everything and everyone in your life, and to come! LOVE U! :) :)

Happy New Year!!! This is will be year of Jubilee, and I am claiming that for me and those around me, with the LORD WILLING! So many people have so many stories in their life that need to be written, so others can grow and learn from their experiences. )

Sending the final ebook script to "B Squared Productions" (Brittnee Belt Laverty) who will lay out the book and the breaks in the reading, as well as sending her the final script! The book will be a 24 or 32 page - full color with print for K-3rd grade audience and the hardcover book will also include a 5 tract CD - one with the reading of the book with original background music- (song title - "God Gives the Colors of the World" music and words by (c) 2013 Holli J. Harris, All Rights Reserved and arranged, played and produced by Curt Ryle of Big Matador Recording.

Lydia Walker (Lydia Walker Music) recorded the background and lead vocals on this song in June 2013.. The other 2 songs, words written and music by (c) 2013 Holli J. Harris, All Rights Reserved, 2 songs from her (Holli J. Harris as THREE ACCORD) first CD recorded in Jan 2013. "You Were Always An Angel" and "I Will Be There". These last 2 songs can be heard with me (Holli) singing them right now, (on reverbnation at www.reverbnation.com/songwriterchicks but on the CD included in the children's book, it will have Lydia Walker singing all 3 songs along with the background vocals, plus the reading of the book, with and without music.

The level is yet to be determined, buy I'm thinking...end of first grade to 2nd for high readers, and struggling readers, middle to end of 2nd grade! Our first book we will be publishing is called, "The Adventures of Mattie MOO, Libbie LOO, and Lilly TOO!... and What They Learned From Haley Bell, That's TRUE!! I also have a Twitter page set up, but I need to get address. I am just in the initial stages of getting all the activities created and loaded for the children to have an "hands-on learning" experience when they visit the site. (Be patient as it is coming, but is being worked on - and I am the hold up getting things to B Squared Productions to get everything together... (many irons in the fire at one time)

GOD has called me to many things that ALL tie in together and in the end, you will see how all the music, writings, greeting cards all tie into each other! It has been a labor of love working on all of this, and especially this book, but it will bring praise and honor to GOD and in the process, and teach US ALL about character and lessons we need to teach our children about life.... and how children teach other children lessons about life! Be watching for our updates and when we will release the e-book on Amazon and Itunes.

Whoop Whoop.... Got my first ebook completed. 5 tracks... 2 readings, one with background music and one without, and 3 songs. Special thanks to Curt Ryle of Big Matador Recording, Darlene Ryle Johnson (who gave up her time for me to record early), to B Squared Porductions, (Brittnee Belt who will be doing the design work of the hardbound printed book and CD cover, to Be Encourage Press, who will be printing and publishing the book, to Songwriting Chicks, (Author, Holli J. Harris), and Three Accord (Recorded music) and to my special friend, Lydia Walker who sings the backup vocals and leads, on all the tracks... as well as on other recorded music for Three Accord. It has been a LABOR of LOVE, and I can't wait to share it all you each of you.

Special thanks to my daughters who came with me on this trip and to some special people in my life that KNOW who they are that believed in me. (will mention them all later) Be watching for what's up next about this special 7 book children's series that teaches, about life, learning and lessons... tagging a friend who will totally understand ALL this!
