Cold Weather Reminder for Pet Parents ✨
Before you start your car in chilly weather, tap on your hood (or give a quick honk).
Cats — especially strays and outdoor kitties — will curl up inside warm engines to stay safe from the cold. This simple tap can save a life. 💜🐾
While you’re looking out for the kitties, here are a few quick cold-weather tips for dogs & outdoor animals:
• Bring pets indoors when temps drop.
Even thick-coated pups can struggle in freezing weather — limit outdoor time and watch for shivering.
• Keep water fresh and unfrozen.
Bowls freeze fast. Use heated bowls or refresh often.
• Protect paws, noses & ears.
Wipe paws after walks (ice/salt hurts), and use coats or sweaters for small or short-haired dogs.
