Don’t get me wrong, I love building a business. I love it even more that it is a large, long term project (neverending, really) that Ash and I get to work on together. I love the people that this business has connected me with. I love that we get to help others make their projects shine.

BUT if I could just travel and wander the mountains of the world with my camera and get paid well for it… that might be heaven.

As a quick 2025 recap goes… it’s the busiest Maxson Media has ever been, we have been working on development of the guts of the biz in ways that are bearing fruit, and all the while getting to do it with my favorite person on the planet. Life is good.

I thought today was a travel day. I had the whole day blocked off for finishing a job and then driving back to FTL from Orlando.

The job finished earlier than I thought it would. Now I have an entire Sunday open. Which hasn’t happened much in the past few months.

Hard to beat walking and snapping pics in the sun in south Florida in March. (Spring break crowd mostly avoided by sticking north of Las Olas)
