Imagine a heist goes wrong cops storm the building and grabbing a hostage becomes your only way out
Instead of standing in the open and trading bullets you force officers to hesitate while you back toward the exit
It would add another layer of risk too because hurting a hostage could bring heavier police attention and bigger consequences
Games like this rarely make hostage situations more than a cutscene but GTA has always focused on giving players choices during chaos
If a robbery starts falling apart should GTA 6 allow you to use NPCs as human shields to escape or should Rockstar draw the line there
