Top best desks 2022. San Fran is such a great city - so walkable & bikable, so many great little shops and restaurants right mixed into neighborhoods… Every city has it’s struggles but a city with the enormous benefits of supporting micromobility & mixed use neighborhoods is still really rare. Makes me happy just enjoying the symphony of the city from the window. Esp with this killer sunset view!!!

See this tiny building? It’s illegal to build. Most historic downtowns are not able to be built by current zoning codes but even in places with a form-based code, often this tiny building couldn’t be built. Here in Glen Rose it was an ice house.
Follow .design to see how we’re opening the code in cities to allow a little bit of money to build a little bit of building and create wealth for all.

Talking climate change at . Feeling the URGENCY of change.

Bottom line: We need to get to 80% reduction in CO2 emissions within the next 10 years to avoid noxious hydrogen sulphide gas leaching from the oceans a hundred years from now.

“We are the first generation to see the effects of climate change and the last that can do something about it.” - Obama

There ARE things we can do. Building walkable, bikes Le communities is a BIG part of that. Time to be inspired & act FAST (as Doug Farr put it) We can rise to the challenge together!

How to make a cool Ferris where on the river not just a lane weird thing? ! Hammock grove ✔️ local artsy mural and OKC sculpture ✔️ adorable swings✔️ concession stand & movable tables & chairs ✔️ creative sidewalks that double as fire lanes! ✔️ and wide enough for food trucks to park! ✔️✔️ Someday there will be homes and more shops here but it’ll be a few years at least. For now it’s a cool destination tho!

The city of Dallas’ food truck and trailer regulations are antiquated and make it harder for new entrepreneurs to enter the space. The City Council is considering changing that.

Dallas City Hall has a new Plan Commissioner for District 1! I’m soooo stoked to be joining this amazing team of all-stars. Today’s 12 hour meeting was actually kinda fun. In a twisted urban planning nerd way. 🤓 So many cool projects & tremendously impactful policies coming out of Dallas these days! 💪🏼💯💥
